One of the movies that recently touched my heart was an Indian-American project called I can’t think straight. This was as much a coming out of the closet movie for the Indian film industry as there has been any for Hollywood, which would like to think would be the movie desert hearts, though I might be wrong in my assertion. With the US president also having come out in support of the marriage rights for the gay community, the question to ponder about is where it leaves the people who oppose such reforms tooth and tail.

There have some cases of straight porn videos showing a great level of violence being inflicted on the gay people, and these have led to complaints with the authorities, and I think it is the right way to go. This has led to the service providers themselves regulating the content that is uploaded on the straight porn tube channels, which is a much better way of doing things if you ask me for my humble opinion.
The straight xxx videos are alright as long as they do not show any kind of discrimination towards the other sections of society, and they should be banned if they do, because such a thing cannot be tolerated in a free society. Some of you would have noticed the inherent contradiction in my words, but sometimes we need to ban some of the content like the kind shown in some of the extreme straight videos, as these violate the freedom of the gay and lesbian community. Freedom is not a free lunch, it has to be protected which is what the government has to do.
